Overview
When the Golden Race invited other races to join them in the stars, three sentient races answered their call. The Goldens called them the Bronze, Silver and Heroic Tribes. Just before the Gold Tribe left to travel to another Universe, a fourth race appeared, traveling to the stars on their own accomplishments. The Golds named the human race the Iron Tribe. During the passing of time, humanity suffers at the hands of the more dominant races and is now facing extinction. Following a prophecy left by the Gold Tribe, Princess Deianeira sets out to search for the powerful being who might be able to save humankind. 遠い未来、宇宙には自らを「黄金の種族」と呼ぶ者達がいた。 星々を創り、未来を知る彼らはまだ未熟な他の種族に呼びかける。「いでよ―――」と。後に宇宙には、それに応えた「銀の種族」「青銅の種族」「英雄の種族」が現れ、惑星をも容易に滅ぼす力を持つ英雄の種族はやがて争いを起こし、結果多くの種族が滅びに瀕することとなる。黄金の種族が戦いを諌めた時には英雄の種族は5人にまで減っていた。黄金の種族は彼らに「自らより弱い種族に宿り、彼らのために生きるという」罰を与える。英雄の種族を宿した者は"ノドス"と呼ばれる、宇宙の命運を握る存在となった。 しばらく後、惑星オロンと呼ばれる星に一隻の宇宙船が墜落する。黄金の種族によって船は救われるが、その時には船員は赤ん坊一人だけが残されていただけであった。黄金の種族は英雄の種族の中でも強大な力を持つ"ベルクロス"をその赤ん坊の内に宿し、彼に赤ん坊を守るように命じる。また、赤ん坊の属する種族を最後の進出者「鉄の種族」と名づけ、彼らに「人類へ―――ここに、お前たちの運命を握る子供がいる」とメッセージを送った。後に黄金の種族はこの宇宙を去り、別の宇宙へとまた旅立っていった。 黄金の種族が去った後、銀の種族は他の種族を支配し、鉄の種族＝人類を敵と定め、彼らを滅ぼすことを決めた。人類の若き王女ディアネイラは、戦闘母艦アルゴノートにて、人類の最後の希望＝ノドスを捜索し、ついに見つけ出すことに成功する。
