Overview

これはゲームのラグナロクオンラインの世界ではなく、別の世界にあるルーンミッドガッツ王国で起こった物語である。 ロアンとユーファは幼馴染の冒険者。ユーファの兄のキーオとその親友であるイルガの4人でモンスターと戦っていたが、ある日、イルガの反対を押し切って4人でグラストヘイム城へ乗り込み、窮地に陥る。キーオが身を挺して3人を逃がそうとし、閉まる扉の向こうで、現れた深淵の騎士に串刺しにされる。 月日は経ち、ユーファがプロンテラにあるキーオの墓参りをする所から物語は始まる。見え隠れする闇の王のダークロード、その部下のキーオにそっくりな騎士であるヘイズ、半魔族のジルタス、真理を追求する狂魔術師のゼフェル。そしてダークロードと相容れぬ隻眼のバフォメットが立ちふさがる。道中、マーヤとポイポイ、タキウス（キャスリン）、ジュディアとイルガが加わり、冒険、さまざまな陰謀との戦い、出会いと別れを繰り返し、ルーンミッドガッツ王国を旅していくのだった。
