食べることが好きな稲荷女子大学1年生・河合まこは、大学で偶然再会した小学校の同級生だった小川しのんから勧誘されて食文化研究部に入るが、その実態はダミーサークルだった。しかし大学事務員の太田まゆみから活動内容のないサークルは廃部になると告げられる。まゆみのサークル調査に対して活動実績を示すため、まこの意見で食文化研究部は料理をすることとなる。
