Overview

A scan of the latest issue of Hobby Japan magazine, released on April 25, announced that Queen's Blade Grimoire will be adapted into an OVA. Comprised of two disc volumes, it will be bundled with the release of the next visual combat book of the Queen's Blade series in Fall 2015. The project is made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Queen's Blade. The project will feature a new cast, set in a parallel multiverse, with the characters fighting using Grimoires (magical books). (Source: Anime News Network)

Synopsis 日本語

4年に1度開かれる闘技会『クイーンズブレイド』。建国から続く伝統に従い、優勝者は、この国の女王に選ばれる。12歳以上の知能を持った生物の女性であれば、誰でも参加が出来る。戦いのルールは、一切無用の殺し合いで、宮廷魔術師の魔法で、全国土の水晶球に中継され、民衆はその戦いを熱狂的に観戦する。プレイヤーは、闘技会に参加する女闘士となり、優勝を目指す。
