Overview

この世界では工業と共に「魔法」が技術として普及しているが、「魔法」の濫用による不可視の汚染物質「呪素」の蔓延により、呪素に侵された人間の成れの果て「魔族」の脅威にも晒されている。魔族により一度壊滅的な被害を受けてもなお人々の生活や復興、そして魔族の討伐には魔法が不可欠であったため、「モールド」と呼ばれる鎧を纏う「魔法士（ソーサリスト）」たちによって魔族化の危険性を背負いながらも魔法は使用され続けることになる。魔族と戦う「戦術魔法士（タクティカル・ソーサリスト）」の青年・レイオットとその同居人であるCSAの少女・カペルテータは、とある魔族事件での監督官の女性・ネリンとの出会いをきっかけとして、彼らの住む街トリスタンで発生する数多くの魔族事件とその裏で巡る様々な勢力による陰謀に巻き込まれていく。
