あらすじ

『いつも心に好奇心（ミステリー）！』で初登場した怪盗クイーンの物語。気まぐれな怪盗クイーンがパートナーのジョーカーやRDと共に、超弩級巨大飛行船『トルバドゥール（「吟遊詩人」の意味）』に乗って世界中をまわり、時に変装し、時に戦い、高価な宝石や絵画、などを盗んでいく。クイーンは、獲物を盗む前には必ず犯行予告状をだしてから盗むという、ジョーカーやRDには理解されない『怪盗の美学』に沿って仕事を行う。また、時にはクイーンの師匠・皇帝（アンプルール）や、国際刑事警察機構（ICPO）の探偵卿たちに犯行を邪魔される。基本的に三人称小説だが、一部は一人称で語られる。
