Overview

When Dr. Eggman (Robotnik in the US version) holds the president and his daughter hostage, Sonic must comply to the evil scientist's demand of going to Eggmanland to stop Black Eggman and deactivate the city's generator before it reaches critical mass. Synopsis 日本語

世界一の俊足を誇るハリネズミのソニックと相棒のテイルス。ある日、彼らの元に大統領とその娘セーラを人質を盾に大統領官邸に立てこもる宿敵ドクター・エッグマンが現れる。そんな世界の危機にソニックたちが立ち上がり、新たな強敵ブラックエッグマンを止めるべく、闇の大地にあるというエッグマンランドへと向かう。そこに2人の旧知の仲でトレジャーハンターをしているナックルズも仲間に加わる。さらにはエッグマンが開発したソニックにそっくりな戦闘ロボットのメタルソニックまで現れ、ソニックは彼を相手に立ち向かうことになる。
