Overview

Soon after birth a young squirrel comes to a farm, and gets caught by a human. This human then tries to find him to their pet cat. However, the cat feels sorry for the squirrel and adopts him as their child and names the squirrel Banner. Banner and the cat live happily in the farm, but their happy lives don't last long. Synopsis 日本語

カナダ国境に近いアメリカ北部のある農家に灰色リスのバナーが住んでいた。バナーは生後すぐに人間に捕まり、雌のネコに育てられたため、このネコのことを実の母親と思っている。ある夜、野焼きの火の不始末から農家が火事になる。必死に逃げるバナーだったが、母ネコと離れ離れになってしまい、気づくと森の奥深くにたどり着いていた。バナーは灰色リスの娘スーと出会い、リスとして新しい生活を始める。
