西暦20XX年のOSAKA。機械いじりが得意で修理依頼を受けた高校生のタヅナは、大学の研究室を訪れる。そこでベッドで眠る少女・コヨリを発見。彼女の手を握ったタヅナに、「神の声」が響き、二人は異世界・ジグラートにいた。ハンドシェイカーとして覚醒したタヅナたちは、同じハンドシェイカーたちの戦いに巻き込まれていく。
