Overview
The story begins with Blaze — a weapon that is the manifestation of a human's soul. Tooru Kokonoe happens to be qualified for this, but for some reason his Blaze is not a weapon, but a shield. 昊陵学園に入学した九重透流は、学園に続く桜並木にたたずむ銀髪の美少女に見とれていた。そこへ、透流と同じ新入生だという永倉伊万里に声を掛けられ、入学式へ向かう。入学式では、理事長から新入生同士による入学のための決闘を行うことが宣言され、透流は伊万里と決闘することになってしまう。
