高校生の瀬尾卓也は陰キャで友達がいない、マイナーな女児向けアニメが好きなオタクであった。一方、彼の前の席に座るクラスメイトの伊地知琴子と、琴子の友人の天音慶は彼とは正反対の性格の明るいギャルだった。卓也は彼女たちに苦手意識を抱いていたが、彼が好きなアニメを慶も見ており、琴子も興味を抱いたことから距離を縮めていく。
