普通の女子高生・八雲楓は、気がつくと獣人やエルフ、ドラゴンといった存在が暮らす異世界に迷い込んでいた。手元のリュックの中には、ポーションなどの作り方が記された不思議な本が入っており、その内容をもとに材料を集めて本とともに「生成」と唱えるだけで作り出せることを知る。生成したポーションは販売も可能で、楓の生活を支える重要な手段となった。帰還を望みながら異世界での生活を続ける中、彼女は旅の仲間やドラゴンとの遭遇など、さまざまな出来事に巻き込まれていく。
