本作の作者であり、農業と畜産業を営んでいる「荒川農園」の四女である女性漫画家・荒川弘が、担当編集者のイシイと対談するという体裁で、北海道の農業・酪農事情などをネタに、面白おかしく赤裸々に語られる。 内容は、荒川の実体験のほか、子供時代の思い出、現在の荒川農園の様子など多岐にわたる。話数表記は「〇頭目」。単行本には偶数ページ右下にパラパラマンガも描かれている。
