Maigahara Music College Affiliate School Maigahara Senior High (abbreviated MaiMai). At this academy where the most talented musicians from around the country gather, a rumor starts to circulate: Put on a great performance at the school festival and you can earn an extra credit. Believing the rumor to be true, Serina, a student who is in danger of flunking, decides to start a band! Together with Aliciana, Nazuna, Nagi, and Naru, the girls’ world brightens up as they perform, enjoy sleepovers, and even cosplay! 物語の舞台は舞ヶ原音楽大学付属舞ヶ原高等学校。通称「まいまい」。ミュージシャンを目指す生徒が集まるこの学園には、学園フェスで最高のパフォーマンスを披露することで、謎の点数が貰えるという噂が一部の生徒たちによって実しやかに囁かれていた。噂の出処は不明であるが、学園祭を前にして成績があまり芳しくない生徒が主に参加している。イロドリミドリも他生徒と同様に満を持して学園フェスに参加するのであった。
