Overview

With the growing demand for high-quality organ transplants in Japan, many underground organizations have carried out kidnapping and murder operations to obtain organs for sale; surgeon doctors also started practicing. 女子高生の鈴原環は交友関係を持たず、無為な日々を過ごしているが、裏では凶悪犯を解体し、正規のルートでは臓器移植を行えない者のために臓器売買を行っていた。その彼女を巡り事件が起きる中、探偵の阿藤圭介は臓器売買の事件の真相に迫るも元同業者の加藤警部に殺害されてしまう。彼の遺志を継いだ恋人・桜田と暴露記事を潰された気鋭の記者・廣瀬直也が臓器売買と「たまき」を巡る事件を追う。
