甲斐ヤマトは暁特区でマフィアのダスクとの戦闘中、「英雄」と呼ばれた嵐柴エイジに助けられる。重傷を負ったヤマトに、エイジは自分のタトゥー・ケルベロスを受け継がせ、死去する。ヤマトはエイジに代わり、特区を守るため戦いに身を投じる。
