Overview

母を亡くし、父と共に引っ越してきた小学5年生の宮ノ下さつきと弟の宮ノ下敬一郎は、両親も通ったという天の川小学校に転入してきた。 さつきたちは学校の旧校舎に迷い込み、そこで妖怪たちに襲われてしまう。旧校舎の中でさつきの母が遺した「オバケ日記」を発見し、それに記された方法に従って妖怪の撃退に成功。だが、妖怪「天の邪鬼」をペットの猫「カーヤ」の中に誤って封印してしまう。 カーヤの中から天の邪鬼を追い出すためには旧校舎内の他の妖怪を「霊眠」させなければならないことが分かり、さつきたちは「オバケ日記」の情報を頼りに、他の妖怪たちを退治していく。
