薄暗く赤い霧が立ち込め、廃墟が広がる世界。りん、りつ、りなたち姉妹は赤虫（あかむし）と戦いながら水を探して生きていた。ある日、姉妹は記憶喪失の青年わかばと出会う。りんたちはわかばがムシではないかと疑いつつも行動を共にする。
