魔法が存在する異世界に、とある日本人の青年が転生を果たした。シンと名付けられた彼は、育ての親であるマーリンとメリダの指導と前世の知識を組み合わせ、わずか15歳にして優れた魔法使いへと成長する。しかし、人里離れた森の中で育ったがゆえに肝心の一般常識を身に着けていなかったため、それを危惧したメリダの弟子・ディセウムが王を務めるアールスハイド王国の高等魔法学院へと進学することになる。学院のある王都へ移住したシンは、貴族令嬢のシシリーとマリア、ディセウムの息子で王子のアウグストと関係を深めていくが、人類の敵である「魔人」との戦いに巻き込まれ、成り行きで魔法使いの精鋭チーム「アルティメット・マジシャンズ」を結成し、混迷する世界情勢に関わっていく。
