Overview

Synopsis 日本語

文明が崩壊した後の終末世界。主人公のチトとユーリは半装軌車のケッテンクラートで廃墟都市をさまよい、その上層を目指してひたすら移動を続ける。さまざまな文化・宗教・兵器の痕跡の発見や、道中で出会うごくわずかな生存者との交流を経て、地球の終末を処置する使命を帯びた謎の白い生き物であるエリンギたちとの出会いや別れの果てに、最上層を目指す。やがて、紆余曲折を経て到着した最上層には黒い石が存在している以外に何も無く、辺り一面は雪が積もっているだけだった。チトとユーリは文明が完全に崩壊したという絶望的な状況を受け入れながらこれまでの人生に満足し、最後の食料を食べると毛布にくるまり「それから考えよう」と眠りにつく。
