Overview
The story of the anime revolves around Dandy, an alien-hunter. His job is to seek out new aliens never seen before, and receives a reward whenever he finds a new species. His mission is to find those new species faster than anyone else as he travels the galaxy. Together with the bucket-of-bolts robot QT and the dimwit alien Meow he picked up along the way, he comes into contact with new planets and their inhabitants.. (Source: Anime News Network)

宇宙人ハンター・スペース☆ダンディはまだ見ぬ新種の宇宙人を求め、使えない旧式掃除機ポンコツロボット・QTや、使えないうえに無駄飯食いでマヌケなボンクラ・ベテルギウス星人のミャウと共に宇宙をさすらう。その道中、一行はさまざまな宇宙人と遭遇したり、ダンディを狙う謎の勢力に追い回されたり、宇宙レストラン「ブービーズ」のウェイトレスたちに鼻の下を伸ばしたりと、ドタバタ騒ぎを続ける。
