「ゴード編」ミコトが魔王ビザンテを封印して数年後、真宝王ゴードというハンターが闇の力を手に入れようとしていた。彼の巨大な力の源である「闇の意思」を封じるために、ミコトは世の中の全てのハンターをカードに封印した。そして1000年後、ドリランドではハンターが伝説の存在であるとされていた。そんなある日、ハンターに憧れる少年ハガンは、彼の家宝のドリルソードを発見する。「ベリンダ編」ハガン達によってゴードが倒されハンターがカードから解放された「ゴード事件」から約1年後、真宝震によって久遠の扉が破られ、混沌の子ベリンダがハガンの元に現れる。ハガン達はドリ天界やドリ魔界に狙われながらもベリンダの父親を探す旅をはじめる。
