Synopsis 日本語

海明星（うみのあけほし）に住む高校1年生の加藤茉莉香（まりか）は、ある日、死んだと思っていた父親・ゴンザエモン加藤芳郎が実はつい最近まで生きており、宇宙海賊船・弁天丸の船長だったと知らされる。さらに、弁天丸が海賊として活動を続けるうえで欠かせない私掠船（しりゃくせん）免状の継承のためには、直系の継嗣である茉莉香が船長になるのが条件と告げられた。茉莉香は女子高生兼宇宙海賊船船長としての生活を送ることになる。
