不慮の事故で両親を亡くした双子の兄妹の春日野悠と春日野穹は、それまで住んでいた都会から離れた山里にある奥木染町（おくこぞめちょう）へ移り住み、かつてその地で医者を営んでいた亡き父方の祖父母の家で、兄妹2人の生活を始めることとなった。頼れるお姉さん依媛奈緒や天真爛漫天女目瑛との再会、深窓の令嬢渚一葉と謎のメイド乃木坂初佳との出逢い、思春期全開中里亮平と奥手な委員長倉永梢との交流、更には駄菓子屋の妖艶店主伊福部やひろとも接触する。悠は手探りながらも恋愛に目覚めていく。
