富豪の息子でお坊ちゃん育ちの主人公・桐木司は、過保護な育て方を押し付けてくる家庭に不満を感じつつも反発し切れない生活を過ごしていた。そんな中、家庭教師の美知恵さんの一言をきっかけに不良になることを決意。紆余曲折の末に暴走族「極楽蝶」の八代目頭になり、暴走族として青春の日々を送ることになる。
