マリーはCAT（Counter Attack Terrorism、米国に所属する半軍半民の反テロリズム専門部隊）の凄腕女性指揮官。薔薇の形に見える胸元の傷跡から「薔薇のマリー」と呼ばれる。夫と息子をテロ活動により失った過去を持ち、テロ壊滅に命をかける。テロのある所には、世界中のどこへでも出向く。
