Overview

A Cinderella story of sorts, Fashion Lala stars a little girl named Miho who doesn't get along with her family. Miho loves to design clothing, but her aunt and three cousins don't believe that such a young girl is capable and mock her designs. Meanwhile, a contest for the new "Disco Queen" is coming up, and Miho wants nothing more than to be able to design a dress for someone to wear to the competition, since she's too young to enter herself. With determination and a little bit of magic, Miho's dreams just might come true!

Synopsis 日本語

ある港町で、町の少女たちの中からダンスクイーンを決めるディスコダンスフェスティバルが企画されていた。主人公ミホは、ファッションデザイナーに憧れ、いろいろなデザインのドレスを作ることを夢見ている。そして今回のダンスクイーンコンテストに従姉（いとこ）の一人シュリが自分のデザインしたドレスを着て出場することになってミホは大喜び。ところが市長の息子である不良少年キッドが現れ、フェスティバルを失敗させようと妨害する。さらには叔母がミホのデザインしたドレスを切り裂いてしまった。泣き崩れてしまったミホは、妖精ピグとモグの魔法でファッションララに変身し、自分のデザインしたドレスを身にまとって街の人々を魅了する。
